I’m SteveHARRIS, proudly Nigerien. My father’s from Asaba in Delta State status my mom’s from Akwa Ibom Offer, so I guess delay makes promotion half standing. I’m a Life Strategian, M

Like many people in this field, Steven did not start out in the security or tech industry but chose to work in this sector because it combines his existing interest in the internet and technology with the need to constantly solve problems and learn new skills.
Steven always had an interest in computers, ever since the early days of dial-up internet. The ability to find out everything and anything about any subject you wanted to learn about was incredibly interesting to him, but he hadn’t considered then how this would be useful for security.
After University Steven joined the police and became a detective. Over time the internet and digital technology featured more strongly in all types of crime and he began to use open source intelligence more and more effectively to solve cases. Its value wasn’t always so obvious though. As recent as just about ten years ago, Steven was told off by his supervisor for using Twitter to try and locate witnesses to a robbery. Fortunately, times have changed since then!
The greatest highlights for him were the cases where he caught criminals who took great pride in their OpSec and acted as though they were never going to be caught. He always loved the challenge of these cases because if you dig deep enough you can find the gaps in their armor

Not many people in the world today can boast of dropping out of university, and then going on to become successful in their field of endeavour, but here is a man who did not just drop of out of the university once, but twice!
That was not a deterrent to him, as he is now leading a successful life as a Management Consultant, and a Life Strategist.
Because his grades were not up to par he was “advised to withdraw” from the University of Benin in 2004.
He enrolled in Madonna University that same year but left after 7 months because of the embarrassment. Wrong move you may say…. yes it was. Steve even agrees.
Steve came back home and was depending on handouts from his younger sister who was now working in one of the airlines in Nigeria. One day, the sister got fed up and told him there was no more money for him.
